Made in England for over 100 years, this premium quality solid brass continuous or piano hinge is manufactured to meet the exacting demands of the traditional cabinet maker. Ideal for use on chest lids and heavier cabinet doors, this continuous hinge offers full length contact and support distributing the forces evenly across the entire joint rather than at two or three load bearing points. Available in three open widths, this hinge is produced from 0.9mm brass sheet and is precision made around a 2.3mm diameter pin. Pre-drilled and countersunk, these hinges require No 4 fixing screws and the holes are spaced at 60mm between fixing centres. Supplied in 1m lengths, these hinges may be cut to size by the user if required. ©
