These full mortice style locks are specially designed for use with sliding doors. Where a standard rectangular bolt would simply slide out of the receiving hole, these locks feature a hooked bolt which grabs into the hole keeping the door shut. Supplied with corresponding brass strike plates, these locks have extruded brass plates, screwed brass caps and brass bolts. Available in both left and right handed versions, choose the locks according to where they will be sited in relation to the front of the door. If from the front the lock will be located at the left hand side, order a left hand lock. Made in England, each lock has a high quality 2 lever mechanism, a two way keyhole for horizontal or vertical use and is supplied with two nickel plated malleable iron keys. ©
