Used for all types of furniture and cabinet making, this knock down Zipbolt is the perfect way to construct cabinet carcases, tables, chairs and even beds. Suitable for all kinds of 90o or 180o joints, this bolt eliminates any need for external clamping during gluing and allows the entire piece of furniture to be assembled at once. Easy to use, the connector is tightened and the joint tensioned using a 5mm hex bit. The connector nut houses internal gearing which makes this connector as easy to use as simply driving a screw. Once tensioned, the resultant joint is incredibly strong. This connector is fast acting reducing construction times considerably. Nut requires a 35mm diameter hole and the threaded insert a 10mm diameter hole and 6mm hex bit. ©
