Designed specifically for 1 3/4hp to 2 1/2 hp, 3 1/2" diameter fixed base router motors, the new Rout R Lift FX offers all of the convenience of the Rout R Lift; above the table height adjustment and bit changes and also incredible accuracy. Using a cam lock mechanism, the router body is held tightly in place during use, but can be released quickly and easily should the router be required for freehand work. Precision machined from 3/4" thick phenolic, the 9 1/4 x 11 3/4" top plate has an opening capable of accepting up to a 3 1/2" router bit and includes a 1 1/2" diameter insert ring. The height adjustment offers a full 2 1/2" of travel with each revolution of the removable cranked handle raising or lowering the bit by 1/16". A perfectly engineered mechanism moves the router up and down smoothly without any jerkiness and once the handle is removed, the router is locked in position. An 8 position set screw levelling system ensures that the insert plate remains flush to the table top. With the fixed base router now available in the UK, the Rout R Lift FX is set to become the leader in the router table insert market place.
