These new ceramic wheels are specially developed to be more abrasive, allowing them to cut faster and ultimately much cooler than carborundum and aluminium oxide wheels. This helps to prevent heat build up in the tool which can destroy the sturcture of the steel making it brittle. Perfectly suited for sharpening A2 steel, these ceramic wheels are available in two grits 80g and 100g and measure 6" diameter by 1" wide with a 1" bore. Each wheel comes with adaptor bushings to suit grinders with 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8" arbours.
