Dakota Blade Polishing KitDescription | Customer reviews The sharpest edges are formed at the intersection of two flat surfaces. This polishing kit will put a mirror like finish on to plane irons and chisels. Comprising of six different grades of diamond lapping paste: 30, 15, 6, 3, 1 and 0.5 micron to be used on either the 6 MDF polishing boards or the glass plate. If using the polishing boards, ensure that only one grit is used per board or if using the glass plate, make sure this is thoroughly washed before moving on to the next grit. Also included with this set is a 600grit diamond stone which is ideal for reshaping and removing nicks from the edges of chisels. This set comprises six syringes of diamond paste, six MDF lapping boards, one glass lapping plate, one diamond stone, one bottle of lapping fluid and a non slip mat.
