The clamps have cast heads which are ribbed for strength and are epoxy powder painted for durability. The sliding clamp head has a quick release lever for fast set up and removal of the workpiece. The comfortable wooden handles allow you to rotate the quick action thread and the swivel shoe ensures that you can clamp both square and non square workpieces. The main bar is made from hardened steel which is pre tensioned to prevent twist and has serrations on the edge to prevent the clamp head from slipping back when under heavy pressure. The clamps with 2.5" throat have a bar measuring 1/4" x 3/4", the 3.5" throats have a bar 5/16" x 7/8" and the 5.5" throat clamps have a bar measuring 3/8" x 11/4".
