This is Dewalt's best selling router. It features a two column precision guide with large phosphor bronze bushes all contained in a high quality die cast aluminium housing allowing for precise controlled plunge cuts to be made. Soft start eliminates small initial movements that might misalign the cutter and large comfortable handles with the on/off switch and plunge lock at your finger tips allow for excellent control.The electronic speed control ensures that the same fine finish is achieved in all grades of timber as the selected speed is maintained under any load. The routing depth setting with fine adjustment and magnified scale allow for fast simple setting. Supplied with fine fence, dust adaptor, 30mm guide bush, 1/2" collet and carry case. Please note due to the power rating of this machine, the 110V version is supplied without a plug.

I have had this router for approx 1 year and was a bit indifferent about it haveing stuffed under a router table for months. However, if you use it upright, its a bit of a revalation. Although large, the balance of the machine is excellent, try it on the ege of 20mm thick plank and it stays level!! The second thing is the depth gauge, allowing you to cut in 5mm stages to your desired depth, excellent.
