Staining or finishing cabinet doors, fascia and other board or panel items is all part of the woodworking process. But what do you do with them while they dry? You get used to working around them when you have the odd one or two around the workshop but what about when there are more? This is where this ingenious new racking system comes to the rescue. Modular in design, you can add levels to the system as and when they are needed. These racks hold the work horizontally preventing the finish from running or sagging like some would were they left to dry vertically. Each rack will hold a maximum width of 914mm with no restriction on length. For long boards and trim simply add extra racks to accommodate the length. Fully adjustable to suit your requirements, these racks will also hold shorter items such as cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The system comprises of four stabiliser bars that act like feet giving the racks excellent stability. On to these bars thread the support blocks and these support block hold the cross bar supports that form the rack. To add an extra level of racking, stack another level of support blocks and add the cross bars. As you fill the racks, extra levels can be added as needed. The single pack gives the option of five levels of racking, the twin pack gives the extra capacity of up to ten levels of racking which can hold a combined weight of 227kg. The vertical distance between racks is 70mm with the full five and ten level racks standing 470mm and 914mm tall respectively. This system is very easy to assemble and disassemble and is fully portable making it ideal for on site as well as workshop use. ©

really helpful when batch finishing kitchen cabinet doors or facsia boards. lets you place the doors or boards on the racks and them stack another level on top. no need to slide pieces into the rack. takes up virtually no space when not being used.
