These scrapers are harder than most cabinet scrapers and hold their edge longer. The edges are carefully milled to a square, sharp 90? ready for immediate use on fine work. For heavy-duty use, a hook must be burnished onto them. The prepared edges not only save you the initial effort of filing and stoning, but indicate the condition they should be in the next time you intend to put a hook on them. The scrapers come in four thicknesses, 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm and 1mm. The two thinnest, used for fine work, are 50mm x 150mm. The two thicker ones are 60mm x 150mm and are for heavier stock removal, the 1mm scraper is also suitable for paint removal. All come with edge guards and complete resharpening instructions. ©

All I can say is I wish I'd purchased these earlier: these simple tools are really useful. They produce a 'smooth as glass' finish to your wood and make prep work so much easier. My workshop stays a lot cleaner now too - there's so much less saw dust to clear up at the end of the day. The only dowside is that you will need to buy a burnisher too otherwise they will soon loose their edge.
