For an authentic solid wood finish to veneered table tops, shelves, counter tops and cabinets, this edge banding is made from high grade real wood veneer. Available in the same range of woods as the veneer sheets for a perfect, professional match, we suggest using the red oak banding with the flaky oak veneer. Supplied in two standard widths of 7/8” and 2” this edge banding features 10 mil paper backing and comes pre-glued with a heat sensitive adhesive. Although sanded smooth, these edge bandings are unfinished and will accept any type of finish and may even be stained if required. These bandings are iron-on and require a heating iron to activate the adhesive and once applied will hold firm without peeling. Any surplus edge banding is easily trimmed with a laminate trimmer or sharp blade. This is professional quality edge banding and gives outstanding results for a solid wood look to any veneered work. Both widths are supplied in 25ft rolls. The red and white oak are American species and differ in colour to English and European oak. ©
