Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, Titebond III ultimate wood glue offers superior bond strength and is waterproof to ANSI/HPVA Type I water resistance specifications and is ideal for kitchen and bathroom projects as well as for decking, outdoor furniture, bird boxes and planters. Unlike other waterproof glues, Titebond III is non-toxic and solvent free making it safe to use and is FDA approved for indirect food contact for items such as chopping boards. Easy to clean up, any excess may be removed with water whilst damp or sanded once dry. This glue has a strong initial tack and an open time of around 10 minutes that gives plenty of time to correctly position pieces before clamping. Once dry, this glue is easily sanded without causing softening and is unaffected by finishes. This is an excellent professional quality glue and available in three sizes. ©

I use Titebond III in the construction of butchers blocks. The combination of waterproof along with being FDA approved for indirect food contact makes perfect. It produces a good strong bond too.
