This bulb planter is purpose designed for planting small bulbs such as Crocus, Bluebells, Aconites, Snowdrops and Crocosmias. The 40mm diameter circular blade is fully forged from one piece of steel and features a cutting edge that allows for fast and easy insertion into the ground creating a clean hole without tearing or damaging the surface of the grass. Simply insert the blade, rotate and remove the tube of soil. Place your bulb in the created hole and cover up with the removed soil. This planter features a unique 480mm long handle design to prevent your hands from slipping off the shaft and enabling you to significantly extend your reach.It is designed to be used from a kneeling or sitting position or a standing position when working on raised beds.
