This cultivator features a unique 480mm long handle design to prevent your hands from slipping off the shaft and enabling you to significantly extend your reach. It is designed to be used from a kneeling or sitting position or a standing position when working on raised beds. The head of this cultivator has pointed tines that are hand forged and will not bend or buckle under heavy load. The three tines penetrate and loosen the soil around trees, shrubs and plants and pull out the weeds by their roots. In doing so the cultivator ensures that more air and water can reach the roots of the plant, aiding plant growth and development. The compact ball of the tines measures 50mm across at the working end allows for the head to be maneuvered in confined spaces. Hand forged in Holland©
