The sharp tines will easily penetrate hard compacted soil and sods are broken down by hitting them with the tines. Extremely well balance this fork is equally at home removing plants, aerating the soil and tending to the compost heap. The tines are broad and flat at the front and rounded at the back making this the perfect tool for harvesting potatoes. The ash handle has been selected for its straightness of grain and the morticed T handle is tapered for a positive non slip grip.
