This compact fork is designed to be used from a kneeling or sitting position or a standing position when working on raised beds.The 110mm wide head on this three prong fork allows for controlled digging and turning of soil close to plants, shrubs and small trees without the risk of damaging the roots of the surrounding vegetation. The flat sharpened tines penetrate even the most compacted soil with ease making digging and turning significantly easier and quicker. The fully forged head is hardened and tempered to prevent the tines from bending under heavy load and the forged socket that surrounds the straight grain 400mm ash handle is over 160mm long to ensure maximum head support without the risk of breakage. Light in weight yet incredibly strong these forks have a traditional tapered morticed & tennoned T handle.
