The Chelsea hoe is used for the rapid creation of trenches and furrows and creating transplant holes, even in the most difficult soils .The curved fully forged head is sharpened so that it slices through soil and roots. By bringing the head down in a similar motion to when using an axe and then drawing the head toward the Chelsea hoe makes the digging process faster and easier than by spade. The extra long 1300mm ash handle extends the operators reach and allows for the back to be kept as straight as possible. Hand forged in Holland.©
