With its tubular cross section, the shaft is exceptionally strong and will not bend or warp under load. The head and shaft are meticulously welded together for durability and strength and the welding is so skillful that the shovel looks like it has been forged in a single piece. This is a shovel that will give years of untiring service. The smooth stainless steel handle is broad and easy to hold making it comfortable even when moving large quantities of aggregates. This stainless steel shovel is supplied with a cover to protect the head from damage when not in use. This shovel is an excellent long term investment for any gardener.
