The forged head of the Sprake has of series of sharp teeth that when pulled through the ground will cut and slice away nettles, brambles and thistles in one stroke without clogging. It is superb when working in over grown gardens and allotments as it will finely rake the soil and work as a powerful weed remover. When raking in flower beds or vegetable gardens the front teeth break up the soil clods leaving a fine finish to the surface. The open slots prevent the blade from clogging up with soil, making the Sprake lighter in use and the reduced friction allows it to slide effortlessly through the ground. Fitted with a 1400mm ash handle this Sprake is highly recommended for all raking and large surface are clearance functions. Hand forged in Holland.©
