This compact Spork is designed to be used for digging, planting and splitting out perennials from a kneeling, sitting position or a standing position when working on raised beds. The one piece fully forged blade has a sharp serrated edges to penetrate and break up compacted ground and the open slots prevent the blade from clogging up with soil. This blade is the ideal size to get under and uplift bulbs and roots. Light in weight yet incredibly strong this Spork has a traditional tapered morticed & tennoned T handle on which you can exert significant leverage without the risk of damage to the 400mm straight grain ash handle. The 100 mm wide blade requires minimal room and is easy to maneuvered in vegetable gardens and flower beds. Hand forged in Holland. ©
