With its five layer composition, this garden hose is strong, light in weight, abrasion and temperature resistant and in our opinion is the ultimate in garden hoses. Made up of four different layers of PVC, each with their own unique properties and a middle layer of a highly tear resistant, polyester fabric, this hose is soft and flexible but will not puncture or burst easily. Cheaper hoses are susceptible to cold weather which perishes the rubber or plastic making it brittle and prone to cracking. This causes the hose to leak making it virtually useless. This hose is able to withstand temperatures as low as -15 degrees Celsius and will still work perfectly at this temperature with no adverse effects or loss of flexibility. Due to its composition, this hose is also not affected by UV light which causes plastic to perish nor is it affected by weather or ozone which damages the structure of rubber. Available in two diameters, the 1/2" diameter hose has a bursting pressure of 30 bar and the 3/4" diameter hose has a bursting pressure of 20 bar more than adequate for even the very largest of irrigation systems.
