This heart shaped trowel features a unique 480mm long handle design to prevent your hands from slipping off the shaft, enabling you to significantly extend your reach and increase leverage. It is designed to be used from a kneeling or sitting position or a standing position when working on raised beds. A favourite when potting out greenhouse grown plants this trowel has an extra wide blade with high curved sides that hold and move more compost in one movement than a conventional trowel. The rounded heart shape makes life easier when scooping out flower pots and tubs & helps prevent soil spilling out of the pots. The sharpened edge of the blade penetrates compacted soil with ease.
