Produced for the craftsman, these two sets of premium quality bevel edge chisels are bound to please the most discerning woodworker. Made in Germany, these chisels have German chrome vanadium steel blades which have a much higher resistance to metal fatigue than other tool steels. This makes them extremely durable and capable of withstanding the repetitive hammer strikes without cracking or failing. Each blade is hardened and tempered along its entire length allowing these blades to take a razor sharp edge down to its very last inch. The integral tangs are seated deeply within the solid ash handles. These handles are fully shaped to fit snugly and effortlessly in the hand and are extremely comfortable to hold and feature steel reinforcing bands to ensure the handles do not split or spread with time. These beautiful sets are presented in fitted wooden cases. The six piece set comprises 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm and 25mm chisels. The eleven piece set comprises 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm and 30mm chisels. Chisel lengths range from 245mm to 285mm. ©

The blades are premium quality German chrome vanadium; a metal that has a much higher resistance to metal fatigue than other tool steels and is perfect for tools that are designed to be struck with a mallet. Each blade is tempered and hardened to RC-61 along its entire length, giving a blade that will take and hold a razor sharp edge as well at the end of its working life as it did when new. The handles are made from slow growing European hardwoods selected for their straight grain and strength. Supported by a steel band, the handles will not spread or split in use and offer exceptional support to the deep seated tangs. Precision ground and sharpened before they leave the factory, MHG chisels are built for hard work and perform flawlessly.
