The high quality solid steel bar has a large 32mm x 6mm cross section making it highly resistant to bending or twisting during use. The jaws are slightly tapered for true parallel clamping making these clamps the perfect choice when jointing boards for table tops and other large projects. Virtually unbreakable, the malleable iron head and slide are flat bottomed to allow the clamp to stand, unsupported, on the workbench. Powder coated for greater durability, the clamp head and slide are precision machined to glide along the clamp bar for rapid set up and clamping. The slide can be positioned anywhere on the bar using the predrilled locating holes and is held firmly in position using a solid steel pin. This sturdy steel pin will not bend or break even under maximum load. The head features an extremely hard wearing steel rolled acme thread which runs very smoothly in use. The large handle offers the user plenty of leverage allowing the clamp to achieve maximum pressure with the minimum amount of work. Capable of exerting extremely high clamping pressures, these sash clamps measure 60" in length and have a generous 54" capacity. Being the owner of a couple of Record sash cramps, i found myself needing more cramps for a larger project I was working on. I bought the six pack of these Dakota cramps and am not disappointed. They work just as well as the Record cramps and for much less cost. I would recommend any one who is looking for sash clamps to save their money and buy these.

These clamps are quite simply excellent. Well made and strong and capable of racking up the clamping pressure - all you could possibly ask for. Having done my research on the internet before I bought, the price for the pack of six makes them extraordinarily good value for money.
