This ingenious clamping set allows a mitre joint to be clamped perfectly at 90 degrees using only one clamp. The two mating blocks exert equal pressure to both sides of the joint, holding it firm while the glue dries or fasteners are positioned. Manufactured in America by Woodpeckers, this clamping set is machined from solid aircraft grade aluminium to exacting tolerances ensuring your mitre is always 90 degrees. Measuring 3/4" thick this clamping set is 3" x 3" square with a jaw length of 1 5/8". Counter bored holes on both pieces allow them to be mounted on a bench for use as part of a clamping fixture. The wedge features a hole tapped to 5/16" x 18tpi for mounting on a toggle clamp if required.
