This comprehensive set of six mortice chisels and bits offers a range of sizes from 1/4" all the way up to 1" to suit all of your morticing requirements. Made from highest quality tool steel, the chisels are back tapered to prevent binding in the hole and feature generously sized windows for rapid and efficient waste removal allowing faster and deeper cutting. The extra long bits can be cut to length with a hacksaw to suit your machine and like the chisels are fully resharpenable. Featuring single, razor sharp spurs and cutting edges, the bits have a wide single flute which is precision machined to give optimal swarf movement and removal. This excellent chisel and bit set comprises 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" chisels mounted on 3/4" shanks. This set is presented in a fitted wooden case. ©

I own the SIP heavy duty mortiser and these chisels and bits are ideal for this machine I've not managed to clog one yet and I work mainly in pine The chisels keep their edges a long while so i've only had to sharpen them once in a year of ownership.
