Hole cutters are incredibly useful for cutting holes for pipes, cables, inserts, inlays and many other things. The downside to this is that for each diameter you need, you have to purchase a new cutter which takes up storage space and costs money. This circle cutter offers all diameters from 25mm up to 65mm in one single, easy to store unit and represents exceptional value for money. Made in Japan, this circle cutter has high speed steel blades and will cut through all types of hardwood, softwood, plywood, MDF and composite boards. This cutter offers a maximum cut depth of 30mm from one side, however if the board is accessible from both sides a cut depth of 60mm can be achieved. Due to its design, this circle cutter can drill holes as little as 7mm away from walls. Offering exceptional diameter accuracy, the diameter of the cut is adjusted by rotating the body of the cutter. The cutter heads are geared and move in and out with the rotation of the body. Once the diameter is set, a locking knob keeps the cutters in place preventing them wandering in use. This results in a perfectly accurate hole. An 8mm pilot drill keeps the circle cutter on course and makes locating the centre of the hole very simple. The entire unit is mounted on a 10mm shank and can be used in any suitably sized keyed or key less chuck. An excellent investment for anyone who has lots of larger diameter holes to drill.
