Covering a wide range of drilling applications, this set of 39 quick tools on 1/4" hex shanks is perfect for the woodworker who spends a lot of time drilling and boring. This set features a standard quick release chuck for normal applications and a slimline holder for use with screwdriver bits and in narrow spaces. Seven high speed steel wood drills in a range of sizes from 1.5mm to 7mm is included. These drills have hollow ground sides to reduce friction and deep flutes for rapid waste removal. Three spring loaded self-centring drill bit guides allow for the precise positioning of hinges with screw sizes of Nos 6, 8 and 10 screws. These drill guides can be dismantled for sucessful cleaning and debris removal. Five hardened tool steel countersinks with high speed steel pilot drills produce hole sizes of 3/8" and 1/2" which correspond to the two included tool steel plug cutters. For countersinking tasks where a pilot hole is not required, two standard countersinks in 3/8" and 1/2" are featured. Five HSS forstner bits are included in sizes ranging from 15mm to the very useful 35mm in 5mm increments and three stub augers in 13mm, 19mm and 25mm are ideal for use when drilling holes in joists for pipework. Four HSS flat bits are also included in 12mm, 14mm, 18mm and 22mm for larger wood drilling applications. This set is completed by three sizes of Pozi and three sizes of slotted screwdriver bits. This set has saved me no end of time. You don't have to undo the chuck every time you need a bit change, you just pull one bit out of the quick change holder and push your next one in. Brilliant idea and the set covers just about everything you'd need to do too.

An excellent set ,will save you loads of time on any job with the quick release chuck. I was dissapointed that the magnets in the screwdriver bit holder were not strong enough to hold onto any size screw in use.
