This three piece saw set consists of Sharks three most popular saws. The 240mm double saw with 17 & 9 tpi part is precision ground to ensure extremely accurate cutting and is a favourite amongst flooring professionals for trimming thin sections from the bottom of door jambs and doors in situ. The 380mm carpentry saw with 10 tpi is ideally suited to larger, heavier tasks and will cut dimensional lumber, thick plywood, and all types of treated timber. The 175mm trim & detail double saw made from the finest Japanese high-carbon spring steel, will perform both flush and mid-panel plunge cuts. The two sides have different pitches, 19 tpi and 24 tpi to suit any application from trimming and jamb cuts to detail and flush cuts. Made in Japan, Shark saws offer the perfect blend of modern western technology and traditional Japanese tool design. Like all Japanese saws, Shark saws cut on the pull stroke allowing these saws to give a finer, straighter cut than those saws that cut on the push stroke. The pulling action is less fatiguing for the user than push cutting making Japanese saws ideal for long periods of use or larger cutting tasks. These blades have teeth that are electronically hardened and diamond ground on three edges making them both extremely durable and ultra sharp. The handles, both straight and pistol grip, are made from industrial high impact plastic and feature soft rubberised non slip grips making them easy and comfortable to hold. These are excellent saws that are not too far removed from conventional western saws.

As a floor fitter i'm always on the look out for kit that will make my life easier. I got these saws for trimming door jambs and skirting and was blow away by the result. Fast cutting with a clean finish. I never leave home without my shark saws now.

These are the best saws I have ever used. I am a dolls house and furniture builder and these saws do exactly what their discription says they'll do.It doesn't take long to get use to the PULLING instead pushing or the angle you cut at.I am still practicing and I'm still don't know their full capabilities yet. They're exciting to use. Sawing is no longer boring.
