When marking out large circles and arcs for tables and such like, standard compasses and dividers are too small for the job. These trammel heads allow you to produce arcs and circles of any size, you are only limited by the length of stock you use with it. The heads have die cast bodies and will accept a beam of 3/4" x 3/8" or smaller. The 3" long legs have carbide needle tips which can be removed to use the included pencil holder. One of the heads has an adjustment feature to allow the precise positioning of the trammel head after initial locking for accurate marking out. ©
