A sharp edged general purpose knife is essential in the workshop for cutting, trimming, paring, scraping, scoring and all sorts of other uses. We like this workshop knife in particular because it is easy to hold, is sturdily constructed from an aluminium die casting and has a smooth blade retraction system. The case of the knife features a soft rubberised grip for non slip working. Accepting standard retractable knife blades, this knife has a spare blade holder in the handle so you are never without a sharp edge. A button on the side of the knife operates a quick release mechanism for rapid blade replacement without the need to dismantle the knife. The blade is easily retracted or extended with the thumb and does not require you to reposition your grip to operate. We use these knives in our warehouse and Tim, who works in our warehouse said "This is the best knife I've ever used. It's solidly built and does not suffer from the blade wobble you get with similar knives". Supplied with five double sided blades. ©

I have to agree with J Morely. This knife is one of the best I've used. The blade change is quick and the fact that spare blades are held in a pop out cartridge in the handle is a definate bonus. It also takes standard stanley knife blades so there are no issues with getting replacements.

This is a fantastic knife. When you use it it doesn't feel like the blade is about to drop out and it's chunky shape makes it really comfotable to hold. Better still, you don't have to take it apart to change blades. Push the button at the side, pull the old blade out, put an new one and and you're sorted. Knocks the spots off a bog standard stanley knife.
