Simply put, this is a carpenter's propelling pencil and why no one has thought of it before is beyond us. It is a brilliant idea. No more whittling away with a pen knife or struggling with a pencil sharpener; one click of the top and there is fresh lead at the tip. Like the conventional carpenter's pencils, the lead is rectangular rather than round and can be shaped to a point if required. Unlike conventional propelling pencils, the lead is grooved giving the pencil a positive grip on it and preventing the lead from slipping back into the body under pressure. Designed and built for durability, the pencil body is made from tough, high impact ABS plastic and is contoured for a comfortable and natural grip. The clip at the top of the pencil lets it slide securely in to any pocket. Supplied with three lengths of black lead. We think this carpenter's pencil is excellent. Also available as a pack comprising of 1 x Carpenter's propelling pencil, 5 x white leads and 5 x black leads. ©
