This set of three marking rules consists of a 300mm straight marking rule, a 300mm bend rule and a 300mm T-rule. Offering unparalleled accuracy, the Straight and T rules have etched graduations and marking holes at every 0.25mm along their entire length. The bend rule has marking holes every 1mm. By having holes to mark in rather than just the etched graduations, theses rules allow you to mark out precisely with no risk of error. The bend rule has slots that run from one face to the other meaning markings can be transferred from one face of the work piece to an adjacent face accurately. The T rule has an anodised aluminium fence to refence the edge of the work keeping the ruler straight when marking out long lines. This is an excellent set for anyone who takes pride in the accuracy of their work. ©

After years of approximately placed marks between two millimeter marks on a rule, it is good to finally have the confidence to work down to 0.5mm and know it is accurate. I make models and doll's house furniture so accuracy is important. These rules have made a drastic difference to my work. The bend rule especially as I can accurately mark out around all four faces of square stock and have the finishing point meet up with the starting point.

I never realised how inaccurate my marking out was until I tried these Incra rulers. Getting exact, repeatable spacing with a pencil and tape measure was always a bit hit and miss but now, if I want 20mm regular spacing I have it. The T-rule is great at marking out long, straight lines. One thing I would advise is get the Incra propelling pencil with a fine lead as a normal pencil is a little too big for the holes.
