You should never underestimate the value of a good rule stop. Using a stop when measuring out ensures perfectly placed repeat marking giving you that extra level of accuracy in your work. When teamed with a high quality rule, little can beat it for marking out. This stop comes in two different sizes; the RS-1 fits rules up to 38mm wide and the RS-2 fits rules up to 57mm wide. Both stops feature aluminium blocks that are precision machined to be perfectly square giving you the confidence that the rule will be set perpendicularly to the edge of the work. The blocks open and close on stainless steel posts using a stainless steel screw and the blocks are contoured on their inner edge to fit securely around the rule preventing it from creeping or moving in use. These stops will turn any rule into a precision tool and are cetainly worth the investment for any woodworker. Made in America. ©
