This plough plane will cut nine sizes of groove from 1/8” to 5/8” in 1/16” increments. A single screw mechanism controls the depth of cut up to 16mm and a blade clamping screw prevents the lateral movement of the blade to ensure a clean accurate cut every time. A double armed adjustable fence allows straight grooves to be cut up to 125mm in from the edge of the work piece and both long and short fence arms are supplied. This fence may be used at either side of the plane to suit the user. The plane body is manufactured from high grade cast iron and given a durable chrome plate finish. The cast iron rear handle is shaped for a firm grip and the heavy duty plastic knob at the front is well sized for a comfor table grip. This plane measures 197mm in length and weighs 1.4kg. Supplied with a full set of nine high carbon steel plane blades in widths 1/8” to 5/8” in 1/16” increments. All blades are hardened to Rc-58 along their entire length. ©
