Designed for hollowing out, this spoon plane is the ideal tool for creating concave surfaces such as bowls and chair seats. Cast from solid brass, the ergonomically shaped body is comfortable to hold and gives precise control of the blade. The convex blade is 3mm making it less prone to chatter and made from hardened and tempered high carbon steel, the blade will hold a razor sharp edge for fine smooth cutting. A large screw in the centre of the blade gives full adjustment of the depth of cut allowing this plane to make agressive cuts as well as lighter ones. Measuring 160mm long, this spoon plane has a 35mm wide blade. ©
