Long nosed pliers are a favourite gripping tool when working in confined spaces or areas crowded with wires. The tapered nose gives a delicate grip without reducing visibility. These long nosed pliers are, quite simply, the best we have ever used. Made from premium quality tool steel the head of the pliers is precision machined and ground. The grips are knurled for better purchase on the wire or other object you are holding and at the back of the jaws, a wire cutter has ultra sharp blades to slice through any wire you wish to cut. The two halves of the are held together with a bronze bearing hinge which gives the pliers an unbelievably smooth opening and closing motion. Bronze is expectionally wear resistant and ideal for this type of hinge where repetitive opening and closing would cause other metals to wear and therefore loosen the hinge. It also will not rust and, should the body of the pliers become rusty, the hinge will still function as if the pliers were new. All non machined parts of the pliers feature a matt black protective finish. The contoured handles of the pliers have soft foam grips on them giving you a comfortable, non-slip grip even with damp hands. These long nose pliers measure 150mm in length and will cut wire between 1.6mm and 2mm in diameter. Made in Japan. ©
