It often means time wasted in recutting, sanding or even filling to get that perfect joint you were striving for. Even with the most careful cutting, it is easy to lose accuracy and have a detrimental effect on your work. This saw guide is the answer to your problems. Simple in design and very easy to use, this guide will accept all sizes of saw without a spine and works particularly well with Japanese style saws such as kataba and ryoba saws. The guide is height adjustable to accommodate different blade widths and can also be used with different thicknesses of blade. The saw blade sits between the two thin metal plates which hold the blade at the required angle to the wood and allows the blade to move freely between the two without hindering the movement of the blade. The guide is mounted on a large plate giving it excellent contact with the surface of the work and ultimately, excellent stability. A large plastic knob gives the user a good grip on the guide when holding it in position. This guide is supplied with an edge guide allowing it to be used up against a straight edge for long panel cuts and a removable fence keeps the guide perpendicular to the wood when cutting square stock. The guide is fully adjustable from 90 degrees to 45 degrees on either side to suit the way you like to work. This is an extremely accurate, easy to use saw guide and an essential accessory for anyone who prefers the satisfaction of hand sawing over machine sawing. Made in Japan. ©
