Cutting on the pull stroke, this saw has no set to its teeth allowing a fine, flush cut with no risk of damage to the surface of the work. The 6" special alloy blade very flexible and has 20tpi producing a fine, clean cut. The partial brass back offers support to the blade without impairing its flexibility and cutting on the pull stroke ensures the blade is always under tension when cutting. A brass ferrule ensures the blade is held firmly in the solid beech handle which is specially contoured to give more control of the blade during cutting. Made in Sheffield, this saw is an essential tool for anyone who uses exposed dowel or mortice and tenon joints. ©
