Driving screws in tight spaces or close to sides of cabinets can be a major problem. It is not always possible to get a drill driver or screw driver where you need it to be or even at the correct angle you want to use it. This flexi screwdriver is the answer to all your problems. Designed for use with a drill driver, this 300mm flexible shaft will bend and reach right where you need it to. At one end is an industry standard 1/4" (6.35mm) hex shank which will fit into any 1/4" quick change chuck, or suitably sized keyed or keyless drill chuck. At the other end is a 1/4" quick change chuck that will accept all 1/4" hex shank screwdriver bits. For added versatility, this flexible shaft can also be used with an impact driver should the need arise. The rotating shaft is housed in an articulated metal sheath which allows any heat build up to dissipate quickly preventing damage to the shaft through overheating. A rubberised comfort grip behind the quick change chuck allows you to steady and guide the shaft in use. The chuck is magnetised to prevent the bit from falling out. This is an essential buy for anyone who does a lot of powered screwdriving and is faster to use and set up than an angled drill chuck. Made in Japan. ©
