Ideal for the drilling of joists for pipework and wiring, this set of short auger bits is a useful addition to any DIY or professional toolbox. Featuring a single spur for effective chip removal, these auger bits are ground with a slight back taper to reduce friction and to prevent the bit binding in the hole. This set of seven comprises 6mm, 10mm, 13mm, 16mm, 20mm and 25mm diameter bits all with standard 1/4" hex shanks for use with the quick release chuck, not included. These bits may also be used directly in a drill chuck, when rapid bit change is not required. Presented in a wooden case with easy view lid. ©
