Capable of accepting up to a 3" wide blade, this new sharpening sled has three height positions to work with any thickness of stone from a large waterstone to a slimline diamond stone. Made from aluminium, this heavy duty jig is incredibly stable and has an anodised finish for extra durability. Two sizes of blade holder allow the jig to be used on sharpening stones up to 4" wide and 2" thick. Held securely in position by a knurled brass thumb screw, the blade holder can be set at any angle to suit the blade being sharpened very easily; simply loosen the handles slightly, rotate the blade holder to the desired angle and then tighten the handles again. The sled moves on four roller bearings for a smooth, consistant motion which results in a better, sharper finish. Perfect for sharpening plane blades and chisels, this sled has two ABS plastic handles which offer the user precision control over the sled for accurate sharpening results everytime.
