This heavy duty turning tool roll features ten generously sized compartments and has extra width to accommodate longer turning tools. This American made roll is crafted from the finest top grain vaquetta cowhide which is unfinished or naked as it is often refered. This lack of finishing results in an extremely strong, durable leather that is soft to the touch and is fully breathable; perfect for storing tools in. The soft leather is extremely easy to handle and roll and two nylon webbing straps with clip fasteners keep the roll closed during transit. These straps are fully adjustable to suit the thickness of the tool roll ensuring the roll is tight regardless of how full the roll is. A large webbing handle makes the roll easy to carry and is reinforced with steel rivets for added strength. Having just purchased a tool roll DK7006, I am very pleased withthe item. I would like to highlight a minor design issue that I would like to have seen as part of the tool roll. Instead of just the 2 securing clips around the ends of the roll a third securing clip around the middle underneath the handle would be an advantage to prevent any sagging of the roll adding stress to the handle securing points which could result in failure of the single row of stitching of the handle. The single row of stitcing securing the handle is a week point considering the weight being carried in the roll. I find the standard and manufacture of the roll very good.
