A favourite of ours in the workshop, these professional quality I-beam pressure bar clamps are strong, rapid acting and very versatile. The squeeze handle gives genuine one handed operation leaving your other hand free to hold and position the work. A quick action trigger mechanism releases the clamp from the work immediately with a single press. Made from glass reinforced nylon, the jaw bodies are capable of exterting high clamping pressures and the powder coated steel I-beam is shaped to resist bending under load. The fixed jaw has a quick lock and release button allowing it to be removed and fitted to the other end of the bar turning the pressure clamp into a spreader clamp. Generously sized, the jaws feature 40mm x 48mm non marring soft touch clamping pads that may be removed if required. Available with four clamping capacities, these pressure bar clamps have a throat depth of 85mm. ©

I succumbed, yet again, to the temptation of buying clamps and purchased a set of these I Beam pressure clamps. I've owned other brands of these before but these are definitely the best I've used. There is no flex in the bar under clamping pressure and these clamps do provide plenty of clamping pressure. I have the 600mm ones and will be buying the 300mm and 900mm in the very near future.

I bought some of these bar clamps as replacements for my old quick grips that had recently died and have to say I'm really impressed with them. They clamp and release really quickly and clamp so tight they don't budge until you release them. Even better, they're not a horrible bright yellow!
