Drop forged from high quality malleable cast iron, these G clamps are ideal for use where clamping strength is needed such as anchoring a jig to a work bench or holding smaller pieces together during gluing. The nickel plated spindles feature rolled acme fast action threads which offer a very smooth and rapid movement through the clamp. A pivoting foot at the end of the spindle allows for the clamping of irregular surfaces and a drop handle at the other end gives a consistent winding motion. The 6" clamp has a clamping capacity of 150mm and a throat of 80mm and the 8" clamp has a capacity of 200mm with a generously sized 100mm throat. Both clamps have a durable powder coated finish for an extra long service life. ©

Good, solid G cramps. The castings are of high quality and the acme thread rolls smoothly though the clamps. In other words, they work very well. One thing to note, unlike other, cheaper G cramps I've seen, the thread is long enough to close the cramp entirely and does not run out 2/3 of the way along.
