Clamping just got a lot easier with these rapid action, power lever clamps. Offering true single handed operation, these power lever clamps leave you with one hand free to keep your work in position while locking the clamp. The single push lever allows you to get your weight behind the clamp when tightening for superior high pressure clamping. A hardened steel ratchet mechanism ensures the clamp does not slip or slacken in use and a simple squeeze of the release trigger on the handle frees the clamp from the work. Glass fibre reinforced nylon bodies make these power lever clamps light in weight yet exceptionally strong meaning the only forces these clamps exert on the work are the necessary clamping ones. The sturdy powder coated steel I-beam is shaped to resist bending under extreme loads. The fixed clamp head has a pivoting jaw and both jaws feature removeable, soft touch no mar pads. With a throat depth of 80mm, these clamps are available with clamping capacities of 300mm and 450mm. The clamp bodies have flat backs allowing them to stand freely on the workbench if required. When I first used these clamps I was surprised at how strong they were. The lever lets you get your full weight behind the clamp when locking it so you can squeeze that extra bit of clamping pressure from it. These are now my favourite clamps and I use them for everything from holding jigs down on my workbench to clamping panels. Well done Rutlands

I find that when I use G and F cramps I need an extra pair of hands. One pair to hold the cramp and one to hold the work. Not so with these power lever cramps. I set the cramp to the right size, position and active the clamp. All with one hand with my other hand free to hold the work. Easy and very simple. like the other reviewer, it's also good to be able to get your weight behind the clamp to lock it rather than rely on how much torque you can apply with a metal tommy bar.

I bought a couple of these clamps to try as I'd not seen any like them before. As these require you to push the clamping handle away from you rather than squeeze, twist or pull, these clamps seem to lock down tighter then any other clamp I've used. They aren't too heavy either. I like these clamps so much that I've since bought another 6 and may have to invest in some of the shorter ones too.
