Designed for use when hunting, this short bladed knife will make light work of preparing small game such as rabbits or pheasants. Even if you do not hunt, this knife is a great companion in many other tasks around the home and garden. The short blade combined with a larger handle offers the user a comfortable, secure grip even for larger hands with the benefit of a short blade that will make fine and detailed cuts. Hand forged from Swedish 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel, the blade will take a razor sharp edge and hold it but is also tough and resistant to rust and corrosion. The tang is forged with the blade as a single piece giving extra strength to the knife. A German silver ferrule add support and balance to the blade handle assembly and gives the knife a solid feel in the hand. The hand turned handle is contoured to seat itself correctly in the hand for a comfortable, yet firm grip. The Norwegian curly grained birch is darkened slightly to bring out the stunning details on the wood and is impregnated with linseed oil ensuring the handle will need little or no maintenance throughout the lifetime of the knife. This knife is supplied with a premium quality cowhide sheath with belt loop and safety lining to protect the knife when not in use. Blade length 65mm. Made in Norway. ©
