The Dadomaker is a precision jig for making dado cuts with any portable router fitted with a universal sub base .á The Dadomaker allows you to take any width of timber and make precision dados without measuring the matching material or adjusting the cutters through the use of shims or other techniques. The dadomaker records the width of your timber and then you attach the maker to a clamp grip guide, sit your router and guide bush on the dado maker and rout it along the clamp grip rail. The result is perfect fit dadoes without taking measurements.

You will need a universal base (Milescraft part no 1261) in order to attach the brass guide bush to your router.

Nicely made. From the description it clearly does more than it appears to. The manufacturer's website suggests that it comes with full instructions but mine didn't. I'd already got the rails and Milescraft base and this has the makings of a handy tool, once I've worked out how to use it as described..
