The Rutlands® belt and disc sander is excellent for shaping, detail work, denibbing and fine-finish sanding. The brushless induction motor is extremely quiet in operation and features sealed-for-life bearings to prevent dust ingress. An automatic belt tensioning and tracking system ensures consistent belt alignment and belts can be quickly changed without the need for tools.
The body and frame are cast for vibration free sanding and rigidity, and sit on rubber no-mar feet to prevent movement underload. The cast tables have large surface areas for maximum workpiece support and can be tilted through 45° for sanding mitres and compound mitres, when using the mitre gauge.
Two, 35mm outside diameter dust ports ensure efficient dust extraction when connected to a vacuum. Supplied with a NVR safety switch, mitre gauge, 100 grit disc and 80 grit belt, this is a premium performance compact belt and disc sander that will allow for precise, fine-finish sanding of soft and hardwoods when home woodworking, model making, furniture and cabinet making.
