FULL DESCRIPTION
This edge marking rule is the most accurate way to draw straight, parallel lines at a precise distance from the edge of your workpiece. Simply hold the rule against your workpiece edge, insert your pencil in any of the guide holes and smoothly glide the rule against the edge to produce a perfectly straight and parallel line. The rule can be used to mark in 1mm increments from the edge of your workpiece. There are a series of 5 holes running across the rule every 5mm, with the first hole being the increment shown on the measuring scale. For example, if the first hole is next to the 10mm etching, the hole next to this is 11m and the next hole is 12mm and so on. Therefore, this rule measures from 5mm thorough to 49mm in 1mm increments. We would recommend using a 0.5mm fine pencil to achieve the best results when using this rule.

The rule has been CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium and is perfectly flat to ensure that is sits perfectly square when locked onto the edge of your workpiece. The rule has a black anodised finish which will protect it against scratches and make it durable. A crisp and clear metric scale has been laser etched onto the rule with the 1mm spaced holes intuitively easy to identify.

The rule has graduations from 5mm to 50mm with an overall length of 70mm. The compact size of this rule makes it incredibly useful around the workshop and can be used in a multitude of setup and marking out applications particularly when used in smaller scale projects when a longer T rule cannot be used. ©

Brilliant marking out tool that makes accurate work of setting out parallel to a workpiece edge, such as for rebates or cutting down to size. The only but very minor issue being that the holes are very small, so you have to use a very pointy pencil or a propelling pencil.

Kept in the pocket of my apron since it was purchased last month. I use this every day to draw straight lines and also to mark a line on both faces over the corner of my wood. Really great looking tool too!
